Now in its last year, HiWATE is a specific targeted research project funded by the European Commission under the EU sixth Framework programme for Research and Technological Development, shall host its Open Day on 23 Feb 2010 in LONDON.

The Open Day aims to give an overview of the current state of DBP research and main findings of the HiWATE project.
The project consists of 16 Partner institutions from 8 European countries, and involves people from all over the world.

Open Day themes:
The day shall comprise of a series of short presentations by leading experts covering: 

Occurrence and formation of DBPs;
Toxicology of DBPs;
Epidemiology of DBPs,
Risk and risk-benefit assessment
Short discussions shall follow.
