The Lithuanian research group consists of Vytautas Magnus University Environmental Research Department (VMU), Kaunas University of Medicine Neonatal Clinic (KUM) and Institute of Cardiology Laboratory of Environmental Epidemiology (Imperial) researchers and specialists. The team has extensive experience and expertise in reproductive studies. They have been involved in a number of international projects (INCO-CT-2004, EC-INTAS-2001, ISONET, MONICA, FARE, OBSQID, OLAND).
VMU Professor Dr habil. Regina Grazuleviciene will co-ordinate the Kaunas birth cohort study. She has extensive experience and expertise in the area of environmental epidemiology and risk assessment, and will act as a main scientist: co-ordination scientific/technical task, ethical issues, communication, conferences. They will mainly contribute to WP 4 and conduct an epidemiological study.
