They have been/are involved in a number of EC funded projects (e.g. EARNEST, INTARESE, NewGeneris, EuPEAL).
Dr Kogevinas has coordinated two EU funded projects, EPICURO, and 2001/CAN/112 - A quantitative international analysis of bladder cancer risk and drinking water chlorination by-products) that focused on cancer effects in relation to DBPs in drinking water. He chaired the IARC working group evaluating the carcinogenicity of water contaminants (IARC 2002, Volume 84). They will lead WP 4 and contribute to a number of other WPs.
